Kontokosta Winery is often referred to as the North Fork’s “first” waterfront wine-tasting room. Located in Greenpoint, the winery is perched on top of sweeping bluffs that overlook the Long Island Sound, providing a stunning view. From the tasting room, the view of the water is somewhat distant (but still an incredible sight). So you’ll need to take a short stroll down to get an up-close view. Kontokosta allows guests to take their wine down to the meadow and bluff.
